Default Spark plugs for my b16a3 with ctr camshafts.

Will NGK BKR6E-11 fit my b16a3 w/ ctr camshafts, or should i go with a different set? The book says they are supposed to be platinum, does it really matter as long as i gap the copper ones right?

with smal bore and high CR you should used BKR7E with about 0.038-0.040" gap

You should be fine with either one, but the 7's are a step colder and you shouldn't really need a colder heat range with a basically stock setup.

I noticed it takes longer for the engine to warm up so it hits vtec with these plugs.. is the step colder the reason?
