This just started the other day, I hadn't done any modifications to my car right before it started doing this, but when I'm driving and come to a stop, i put the car in neutral (5 speed) and the rpm's barey go down any until i am almost completely stopped.. they might drop 1000rpm from what It was at while it was in gear. i'm talking 1000rpm TOPS. Also if I was on the highway and did the same thing just coasting with the car in neutral, it'll stay revving high. I have no idea what this problem could be. if anyone coudl help, that'd be awesome. thanks

Throttle body plate might be sticking or the spring is broken/getting old. If you pull the throttle open by hand then realease does it close back-up all the way?
