Default NEED CAMS! for my lsvtec!

was thinking crower stage 2's, and a matching spring/retainer kit.
info:
gsr head, b18b block, compression will be anywhere from 11.3-12.3:1 depending on pistons used, aftermarket intake, intake manifold, header, full exhaust. possible port/valve/chamber job from rocket motorsports.

looking for stage 2's to match the engine, or something comparable, nothing more aggressive than that.

here's what i'm looking at so far:

crower:
http://crower.com/cat/import/h...shtml
looking at the 2 from the bottom (the n/a stage 2's)

crane:

buddy club:
http://www.omnipowerusa.com/Pr...s.asp

blox:
need help on these lol. no real info with them, which would you recommend?
http://passwordjdm.com/product...D=450

edelbrock:
http://www.modacar.com/product....html

ZEX - stage 2
http://www.modacar.com/product....html

Toda - anyone know of anything good from them around a stage 2?

crower seems to be the best deal around. but looking at others.

ALSO - looking for matching springs/retainers. should i stay with the same brand as the cams, or can i mix and match?

looking to spend ~800-900 if possible, didn't know if i could budget somewhere with springs and reatainers or what. thanks!

ok, for those that don't get it. i can get a set of cams, springs, and retainers for under 900 bucks...... rocket is 980....

?

are the m22x equal to a stage 2? what would be a good comparison to it?

i would say that yes it is comparable to a stage 2 for a 1.8L motor and it sounds like the right choice for your motor.

about the price, thats a completely individual decision that many people argue over. it is up to you whether or not you want to support cheap companies who copy other peoples ****, or give your money (even if a little more) to a company that does the legwork and deserves something for their efforts. in most cases the latter decision will often give you better quality parts and better customer service so that must be taken into consideration. you decide......
