i noticed that if i turn the ac off even thoe my d4 stays blinking it will start to shift better on my 93 ACCORD.Does this mean anything?

Don't know why your light is blinking, but the answer to why your car shifts smoother might be pretty simple... don't quote me on this, my last car with an auto was a mulletmobile with no AC, so this is just speculation. Just think about it... automatic tranny... motor working harder with ac on... might flare a bit or shift harder because of a higher load.
