Default quick axle install question

Im trying to finish my swap and these axles are killing me. I got the axles into the tranny no prob. but trying to put the male end into the dam spindle and they wont go in all the way so i can put the axle nut on. Do i have to force it in or get the spindle with a mallet or something? trying to finish my swap so i can go to work on monday

i just made sure the axle is lined up with the spindle properly and then used a mallet to force the axle through the spinder so I could get the axle nut on.

Don't do it this way. Make sure it's in the tranny first, then put it in the hub. Maybe lube the hub first.

OMG!! everytime i touch my hatch. i expletive it up..lol. So i put the driverside axle in. tried to force the other axle in. IT didnt work. So i stop. and took it out, but for some reason i pulled out on the axle. I dont know why i did(dam, im lazy). So now the passenger side axle is extended out and wont go back in. Im going to take the axle out the tranny and see what the deal is. Im wondering do ineed to buy another axle or is this fixable.

Same **** happened to me, I put the passenger side axle in the tranny first then tried to slide it in the hub and it wouldn't go..

Tapped on it with a mallet a few times cracked the boot, but it slid right in.. Thank god for hook ups at advanced auto parts.
