You plan on wearing a helmet everytime you drive your car from now on?

Just an honest question.

I don't think a need for a cage in a car is determined by its motor power.

Any car can roll over given the right circumstances. It's a safety thing.

IMO not every car needs a roll cage. hell my dd is a SUV i should prob. should build a roll cage since they have a high tendency of rolling over right. yes EVERY car can roll over, but a stock civic sedan with a single cam and NAWZ dosent need a roll cage. IF your building it to play in the 10/11sec. range then have at it man, if not, your wasting time and money.

Not really. Anything can happen on a track man. Especially a road course, or an Auto-X track. Especially so on a road course. Because you have X number of cars traveling at a high rate of speed, anything is bound to happen. It is a safety issue through and through. I would not put a track car on the track without a cage. It is just not a good idea.

At least on the street, it is somewhat of a controlled enviroment. But on a track, anything and EVERYTHING can happen.

Don't bother asking me how I know.

Well, for one, there is no cross beams behind the driver. Which is what allows the passenger seat to relcine all the way.
