hi all. i have a 91 accord lx coupe wiht 219k on it. today it started to over heat so i pulled over and poped the hood. there was coolent shooting out of the back of the enigne block. is there a freeze plug there that may have broke ? or may it be a gasket?? im out of town to night but will be back tmrw to get a better look at it. any idea's of what it could be would be great!

I suppose it could be something as simple as a heater hose or something sprang a leak. Do not continue to run the engine when it overheats. If you do, you risk serious damage. Good luck

sounds like a bypass or a heater hose blew .

when car is cold, pressure test the cooling system to diagnose properly which hose it is
