loving the 96-98 password lip. on the 99 in some pics ive seen the lip looks really huge

 

i believe those r two different lips, cause the one on the 96-98 has two little vents or whatever u wanna call them on the lip itself and the 99-00 doesnt.

 

yep....96-98 is a replica of a j's racing and the 99-00 is a copy of a chargespeed

 

will the lip hang lower then my side skirts. My car is dropped 1.9 in da front..... Will it scrape alot?

 

yeah itll hang lower than your sideskirts... 1.9 inches is nothing.. my car was tucking a lil bit of the tire and i daily drove it over speed bumps 6 inches tall and it was fine

 

was yours carbon fiber? Did it chip and shatter a lot?

 

yes mine was cf and i had 1.5 inch ground clearance on the sides and it NEVER broke on me or chipped or shattered... ocassional scrape but it just ruined the clearcoat/gel coat on the bottom.. it was a sturdy piece

Also Password has these lips at Second Quality discount for 190 shipped. Is there that much of a differece for $40?

im pretty sure thats all they sell now and FRP (fiberglass) cuz theyve been out of stock for a while now.

what about installation. Do they come with hardwhere and pre-drilled holes in the lip or do I have to take the drill to a new 180 dollar Carbon fiber lip?
