What the hell should i do next, i was gonna do a rebuild but that would take a couple months, so if i dont do the rebuild what should i get to lower my times? i dont wanna get it tuned because i hardly have any mods, cams?tires?tune?rebuild?ecu?

i just want something that can help it but be less time consuming, any of your advice would be appreciated. haha to my slow *** time

That is still not very good for a SI, stock and at that elevation even. My bone stock 06 Civic automatic ran a 16.8.

You said the rings were shot, it's obvious it's down on power, do a rebuild.

Was this at palmdale? If so, their times are high over there. my b16 crx only did 15s....

your trap is almost 10mph off... do a compression check on your motor. something isn't right.

The best advice i can offer you is to score an LS block with fair mileage. Ive seen these go for 150$-250$ on local forums. Get the golden eagle conversion kit, ditch the b16 cams for ITRs or GSRs. Get the obd2-1 conv, a chipped ecu and run in the high 13s

good advice danny, i already have a ls block and a b20z block. i just repainted the b20z and it came out nicely. i was gonna build a b20 vtec, but cost is too much, lets say rs machine pistions 300, conversion kit 200, headgasket 80, machine shop fees Hone and assembly 300-600, head studs 100, water pump and oil pump 200. too much money for me and i have very little time to spend, i start college this month.
I was reading a thread about palmdale and vivid ran his rsx at pomona and hit a 14.3 or something like that and a week later ran at palmdale and hit a 15.3 with no mods done during the time period. maybe the track
