whats up guys, looking to purchase a carbon fiber hatch for my buddies type s. Whats the best company for quality? Has anyone heard of seibon.com? fit and finish is key here guys so any info is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hello no! Man after my supervisor bought his CF hood for his IS300, we took a good look at the weaves, yeah they were nice. But further along inspection it had bubbles that you can barely see from far away but when you get close it just looks so horrible. the material underneath bends and flakes. I don't know dude it might of been the cf hood my superviosr got but becareful

 

my seibon CF hood is pretty good fitment is an 8 outa 10 not perfect could have fit better when i got it...been a year since i got it and it has flexed to fit the car better...the PS headlight area sat funny when new...
Havent picked up the hatch yet but will let u know how mine fits when i get it next week

 

i have tried 4 hoods...seibon being the worse...the weave was off everywhere...bubbles...etc. go with the VIS

 

my seibon hood is top notch.

 

no bubbles in mine...i have the Buddy club version the only spot the weave is off is at the vent and thats to be expected...when changing the topography of it

 

Seibon = ViS they use the same manufacture.

 

my seibon is perfect. fits perfect i can drop it and it latches and fits perfect
