Default my money drain...

i figured i might as well post some updates on my bike since im bored and am sitting around on my ***

i got a hold of a quieter exhaust, in the form of a jardine slip-on (that audi in the background is my cage):

then i found a sweet deal on some smaller turn lights:

just last night i finished installing a new x-ring chain...

so with that, this is how it looks:

as i write this im waiting on the fedex guy to arrive with my pirelli diablos, a stainless brake line should be on the way this week, and im waiting on the right deal for some bar-end mirrors.

over the winter ill get the header/s-pipe ceramic coated and mess with the suspension a little.

and just for *****, here's why you shouldnt buy the pack of cheap c-clamps...

NT650 FTMFW! Post more pics

I love those bikes... I'm sort of looking around for one, as a commuter/beater bike

C-U FTW.

Local ride planing needed. Looks good Marty... I've spent a few bucks here and there on my GS but I can't justify spending too much if I want to upgrade to something larger. Are you planning on holding on to this bike for alot longer?

i dunno. i sit on other bikes and ride other peoples bikes, but find myself being happy to get back on this one.

it is freaking SLOW though. i may just fix it up (replace the nasty bits with non-rashed peices) and sell it for a small profit if i ever get bored. or i could buy a 600 to squid around on and turn this into a track bike. we shall see...

in other news, these should be going on this week:

FURTHER, that nice pimpy DID x-ring chain decided it didnt want to be on my bike and would rather disappear into some nasty, overgrown ditch. hopefully i can get *another* by the end of the week

it was a rivet... but my lack of proper tools made deforming the rivet 'enough' difficult

ouch.... I have a masterlink on my bike since I have limited tools down here too. I went a cheaper route and went w/ a DID roller. Just gotta keep it cleaner/more oiling and general maintenance.
