Got an OEM hardtop a week or so ago, thought I'd share some pictures!

Buddy of mine helped me with the whole install (putting in the hardware and helping me adjust the top in my garage):










My wife tried to take some driving photos of me on the way home, lol. "A" for effort, quality no comment!

Oh, and before everyone asks, the Ferrari is not a 355, it's a 348 Challenge. Luca Di Montezemolo (now head of the FIAT/Ferrari empire) called it one of the worst Ferraris ever made, but for some people, a crap Ferrari is better than no Ferrari at all, especially when they want to project a certain image to others. It used to be my brother-in-law's before it flew off a tow truck after a track day.

not a fan of "black hardtops" unless its a black s2k...

i was arguiing with a coworker with a white s2k today about this lol

he ended up orering a black one

:slap:

 

hard tops are so much cleaner

 

I ended up going with a black top because it reminds me of the 1st gen NSXs (also 2nd gen NSX-R), plus I think the black hides the Miata like lines of the top when it's color-matched.

A Mugen CF hardtop is still in my future plans, but with the money I saved getting the OEM, I can spring for an S/C.

haha, nah. Ferrari's are my brother-in-law's thing, and he's still got his 456GT. I haven't driven it since he's gotten it a couple years ago. The brakes on it sucked anyway V12 sounded nice though!
