Default DART GSR Head Flowrate.

Has anyone seen or done a flow test on this? Im really curious seeing it has 34mm Valves and CNC ported right from Dart. I wonder if this head can hang with some of the big guns in porting.

Searched with no results.

I have a graph generated from flow numbers that DART released when the head began production. I can scan it tomorrow.

I have an Excel spreadsheet I can email to whoever wants it. I'm not sure how to post it here, but if someone wants to help, it's cool with me.

They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. If the head flows as good as the flow sheet says that it will, then it should haul a##. I know that DART works constantly with wetflow flowbenches, so if it flows that good on a standard bench, then you know that they didn't just go in there and hog the ports out, because if they did just hog out the ports, then it would perform horribly on a wetflow bench, and I don't think that DART would mass produce anything that performed horribly on a wetflow bench. Which means that it should make killer power.

I wouldn't think that they would just lie about it either, because that would set a bad impression on their company's name.

Been busy, but here's the numbers when DART released the head back in 2004. And if you've never seen a DART head, I have some pictures of the bowls and such too...

All I'll say is that I have done ALOT of testing on cyl head , recently 4 gsr heads . I will put my neck out here and say that putting a 34mm valve on a stock valve seat is Guaranteed to lose power with a stock bore chamber. Your better off running a stocker over a 34mm. You have to put bigger seats to accomdate the larger sized valve job to support 320 cfm.

I'll even to go furter to show one of my current spare race heads for the project 300 motor. This piece as this was a fixed up head that was fully ported 5 years ago.. 5 years ago it flowed 280 and now alot better

yeah this is exactly where I wanted this thread to go. Good ****. So on paper Dart seems amazing but real world experience Prevails.

Edit: I just realized Dart makes the bore 84.5mm aswell. Any thoughts on that Tbone?

I see DART listing an 81.5mm bore. I wonder if they took any readings with the pitot tube.

So does DART make a head with a valve that is more accomodating for "real world" motors? Anytime I see a head flow at 300 or more, I give the porter a
