Default Sprung or Unsprung clutch?

Which is better for the daily driver and less "harsh" to the tranny?

think about this for two seconds.

sprung....spring....soft

unsprung....no give....rough

the sprung clutches put less strain on the drivetrain as well as make it easier to drive.
