Default Noob Qustion, How do i go about making the steering wheel smoother?

I just purchased a 95 honda accord ex with stock rims. My first impression of the car was how different the steering is compare to my old granny camry. I didnt like the fact that the steering was stiffer than the camry. So my qustion is how would i go about making it smoother or as smooth as the granny camry. I'd think i have to take the front rims off and put some donuts up front.

yes you can change your tires but the accord or honda cars in general are feedback-giving cars. that's why they have loud cabins (to hear the tires) and stiff steering for better feedback, just to name a few. you really can't do much to change it unless the steering components are failing or aging. good luck!

So silly, I thought he was complaining about a vibration in the wheel.

The amount of effort it takes to turn a wheel is caused by power steering pump power, caster angle, and included angle (SAI - caster... or something like that).

The camry you had before probably had a mild caster setting .. like 2 or 2.5 degrees. Your accord probably has a caster setting of about 3 degrees. You CANNOT change the steering wheel effort without major modification.

since when did hondas become feedback giving cars? and when did a honda engineer go "hey! lets make the car louder and steering stiffer. because thats what the average honda buyer wants!"...yea....didnt happen
