Default Crappy Paint jobs!!

My buddy with a Celica GTS just got a new spoiler from wings west. But the shop that he had it painted at in my opinion did a shitty job. From far away, it looks normal. But once you get up close, you can see the texture of the paint. Like you can see little dots of raised paint kinda like braile for blind people (kinda hard to descripe how it looks, but im sure you know what i mean) I also have a friend with an S-10 and when he got his bumper painted, you could see the texture of the paint also. Is this what i should expect with a paint job, or did they just cheap out. If i went to a good shop, would it come out like it would've comming off the honda showroom???

I am planning on getting my whole car repainted with a body kit and new spoiler, but if its going to come out shitty, they i think ill just hold off. Any opinions or recommendations for me??

the hood of my old car looked like that when I had it painted, the best way I know how to describe it is that it looks and feels kinda like a refrigerator door. yeah it needs to be wet sanded and buffed.

mobworks they do great work

as for shitty paint jobs... you get what you pay for... I know two guys who took thier cars to get painted at earl shieb for under 300.... 300! for the whole car! needless to say... I asked them if they are going to prep the car(ie, sand, primer, paint, the full shibang) they said yes... when I see the paint after they got the cars back... I see orange peel everywhere... not one part without orange peel..., overspray, finger prints stuck on the paint... and on many parts...you can still see the old paint! no primer...they painted over the old paint... I've personally done a better job with my friends first gen mr2, we wet sanded, and the paint actually looks decent...alot better than earl shieb, and it only cost us like 50bucks in spray cans(krylon), sand paper and beer labor....

oh man I just checked out that M.O.B. works website... WOW! Why can't we have shops like that around here in the Mid-South, shops that really know how to make a car look awesome.
