Default tube chassis?

hey guys i need some help here. im basically looking for layouts of a medium size street kart w/ suspension. i need dimensions and what not for a school project im building with cad. any websites, forums or threads where i can find pictures and information would be great.

pic up the book "chassis engineering" and then follow whatever rules or guidelines the class youre going for has set forth. that book is a good starting point, but there are more that are better.

and if its just a fun car, then make it whatever size you like.

well we bought a kart and just mocked it. Are you going to use round or square shaped metal?

If I could sugest a book, might beable to find it at a large libarry. if not amazon or some thing.

Racing and sports car chassie design by Michael Costin & david Phillips
Its an old book from the 60's but it has alot of good info on live suspension setups and chassie type's and lay outs witch hasnt change a huge amount in 30 years.
