Its the one with 127 hp 114 tq. Just wondering what kind of things people are doing with these engines. How do they respond to bolt-ons? Are there any good supercharger or turbo kits out there for these engines? He might add i/e/h at the most, how much should that net him? search is down btw.

 

D17s respond very badly to bolt-ons. There are no superchargers avaible but there are a handfull of turbo kits. i/h/e is going to net maybe 5-10whp 10 being very very very generous.

 

its not mod friendly at all. what you would want is either a k swap, boost, or spray. besides that, there isnt any other way to obtain power. suspension you can do. also lighting, as in Bi-xenons and such but if he wants speed, tell him be brought the wrong car

DEZOD sounds like a good kit. as far as reliable, that'd be as good as the tune itself.
