Headers...
I got a 94 gsr all bone stock with a KN intake and was wondering what type of header you recommend. Im lookin at 4-1 DC Sports Headers but dont know where to get the ceramic or the polished...what are the pros and cons about the two types..and after i get the headers what diameter should i get in the piping of the exhaust...2.25" or 2.5"...
Do some research about the collector size you want. I would say 2.5. Why DC, they suck if you are going to spend that much spend alittle more for something nice. Or just get a megan racing header. I know people with DC and Megan. Megans have outlived all of the DCs.
If you are only doing I-H-E then the DC Sports header is ok...personally I like the 4-2-1 configuration because it offers more low end power which is better for daily driving. As far as choosing between the ceramic & stainless, it depends on how long you plan on keeping the car (short time=ceramic, long time=stainless steel). Also, unless you are going with something beyond I-H-E setup I would stick with a 2.25" exhaust.

get a 2.5" collector header, and base the header on the modifications you will be doing for your car. If you are planning on big engine work, save up for the nice header now. if you are just looking for I-H-E, stick with something like the DC jdm style header, and you should be happy
