Default sun band cooperation

I had put a white sun band on my FG1 and the super huge space shuttle wiper blades wore a black mark into it so I had to take it off cuz it looked horrible. I was curious if anyone else has had this problem or found a resolution to it, I have tried some of the cheap after market wiper blades we have here at the dealer but none will come close to fitting.

Any ideas?
