Default Bad idea to leave motor on the floor?

I have a complete swap sitting in my garage floor. Is it bad to leave it there sitting on a piece of card board?

I always see engines on a piece of wood while its sitting. Just wondering if anything will warp or be damaged from being on the floor.

If you are really concerned about it sitting on the floor, I am sure if you post your address someone will lift it for you...

On more serious note, it is fine on the floor...
