no, hondas hands down are the most reliable out of the "sport compact cars" and the best backing owner wise. thats damn near fact nowadays (former dsm owner) good luck troubleshooting a tsi on tsi-tech.com
that is one of the reasons i stay honda. if your gonna change companies at least make it worthwhile ex: supra, m3, rx7, etc and be expecting to spend some money on maintance and repair. if it sounds too good to be true it most of the time is ask him how his tranny doing lol

Well i have a 1991 gst front wheel drive dsm. And yes they do have a lot of problems from the ecu's to transmissions (on awd) Its a lot harder to mod out the talon with anything cause parts are very high priced compared to honda/acura. Don't think the 2nd gens are that good looking eitha if your gonna get a dsm for 1st gen. They rip. And i have 4 of them i could hook you up w/ some parts. Another thing pick up as many parts car as you can will be worth all the little things that go wrong aternator/overheating/BOOST LEAKS/oil burned/leaks. Have any more questions I know alot about dsm's just reply cuz im still a trial
