I've noticed for a while that alot of 5th gens have a gap on the front bumper,it kind of looks like a little sag.this is also happening to my 5th gen as well, does anyone else have this problem and has anyone fixed this before?i have a picture of the gap below(picture of BeeBee6exy car)
Mine's doin it too, I can't seem to make it fit up right. My fender is screwed too though from where the guy before me tried to rig it. I dunno, any info. would be great...
The tabs on the bumper that you insert into the fender breaks off easily. If you've taken off the bumper a few times and you're not careful, the tabs will break.
Good question....I'm thinking I should just get some sheet metal, cut it, drill it and bend it as a replacement for the tabs. Just epoxy the fabricated metal tabs to the inside of the bumper -- there's enough surface area for that, sort of a lip at the top of the bumper.

i had that same gap starting on my 4th gen on the rear bumper. i decided to pull the entire bumper off to see if something was damaged. nothing was. shockingly enough simply putting the bumper on with no adjustments fixed the problem. imo i think that the bolts holding it up are just getting loose. i would recommend taking it off and reinstalling it. it worked for me
Yeah, most of the tabs on mine are broken. I intend to order a new bumper & a new passenger side fender since mine is all jacked up from someone hitting me. A new, unpainted bumper from Majestic is like $180ish I think.
