***How To: Repaint Your Floor Mats***
Wanted to paint my 95 integra Gsr's floor mats cause I just didn't like the grayish color and also is was kinda faded.
Decided to make this "How To:" after I was halfway through
1. Pull mats out of car and give them a good wash.
I used "Woolite Dark Laundry" for the washing process.
(Note: This works good if you don't want to repaint, will darken the mats)
Pour Woolite into bucket, add water and go to town!

2. I used Dupi-color Vynil and Fabric paint. (Flat Black - 4.06ea) You might be able to do it with one can but I bought 2 and used a little of the second can.

3. After scrubing the crap out of the mats you need to dry them, I hand dried them using towels.
4. Now your ready to paint. Spray can about 6-10inches away from the mat. I went along the lines of the mat. I used about 2 coats, waited about 10-15 mins in between each coat. Only took me about an hour to do.
Looks good to!

Let me know if I left anything out, which I bet I did.
Ill take some picture of them in the car later!

hey looks pretty good.
personally I wouldn't want to paint anything cloth.
but that looks ok,
only problem is that your pics kinda suck, they're blurry.
Can't really judge if it actually came out good or not..
But looks good from a distance for sure!
nice and black!

im not 100% positive but i think its more of a dye then a paint. So it gets absorbed by the fabric and changes color that way rather then covering over it.

It does dry pretty quick.
Even if it does start to fade alittle it will still be better than they were and I could always redo them, didnt take long.
Ill have a follow up in about a month or so and let you know how long they last and the condition.

I'd be wary with the paint... here's the how to I wrote on dying mats...
Every year or 2 I take my floor mats down to the laundromat and wash/ dye them back to new.
Materials:
Quarters
1 Bottle of black Rit dye
A small loads worth of liquid laundry detergent
Before:

After:

Instructions:
1. Remove mats from car (obviously lol)
2. Vaccum mats
3. Go to laundromat (preferably somewhere you don't frequent because of the dye)
4. Place mats in washer, w/ a normal loads worth of detergent.
5. Set washer to hot water, and once it starts filling, add the dye
6. After wash, then dry on hot
7. Remove them from dryer right away so they aren't deformed
8. Lay them flat and enjoy clean mats!
