I dont think you'll have to wait that much longer, I believe they said the header and exhaust would be ready at the end of september. I would imagine only a few more weeks. IMO its worth the time considering greddy and tanabe are barely bigger then the stock exhaust.

I honestly don't think that the comptech parts will be any better than what greddy has made or dc or tanabe.. unless it's a race only part

if you take a look back at the parts they made for the 2000 Si, they're header and catback they made are pretty much same specs as greddy or any other company

now in all honesty, i could be completely wrong, but if history repeats itself..

Well I'm definately not talking about the header, considering its just a shorty. However with the comptech exhaust I was more less talking about the diameter of the exhaust, not so much the quality. Stock exhaust is 2" from what i've heard and the greddy is only 2.36 ". Where the comptech is 2.5" all the way through, which is quite a bit bigger then stock.

(DC Quality sucks)..greddy and tanabe are

There are also ones for Tanabe as well.

I talked to Comptech a couple days ago. Header will be out in a couple weeks. Exhaust will be out shortly after that. They still will not commit to a price yet, but they told me the header would be around $529 (same as the RSX).

Personally, I would pic Greddy. Seen alot good things with the EVO II exhaust, but I also haven't heard anything bad about Tanabe either. Greddy is a little cheaper though. $509 shipped at showstoppersusa.com versus $550 for Tanabe.
