Default 94-97 airbags and 98-01 airbags

I need to replace my 96 passenger airbag and steering wheel or steeringwheel airbag but would a 98-01 fit ? thanks!

If it fits and you need a steering wheel, pm me i have a steering wheel with airbag out of my 98 GSR.

i THINK the wiring is diffrent. but not positive.

if you need airbags i got both from a 95 GSR computer, the things under the carpet at the feet on driver and pass side, a **** ton of stuff.

yes 96-01 airbags have the same plug, the only difference is in 98 the driver side airbag has the Acura symbol and the 96-97 just say ACURA.

It fits. I put 01 GSR airbags into my 94. The only difference is that they aren't as faded, but oh well. *shrugs*

No, they dont... If I had'nt reformated my computer today I would post pics of the differences in the plug/connectors. Obd1 and obd2 have different connectors for the passenger side airbag.

I have this problem as well. I have a 95ls and the airbag I got doesn't plug in, fits in the wheel just fine though.

I assume your car is obd2?

umm 96+ is OBDII so they do fit. Read next time. I have a 96 (which is OBDII) and I just put a 99 airbag in the driver side and a 98 airbag in the passenger side because I swapped the dash out for black.
