my prelude seems to have broke. lol
was driving along one day pulled out of a junctionn and gave it a bit of boot and when i changed into third it went bang and a huge flame came out the exhaust then the rev counter went daft and it died and wouldnt start again for 2 days.
then after a huge carry on towing it hoome it starts. i used it fine for a week or so then on my way up the motorway one day it decides to starts to play up. the rev counter started to jump up and down then it was cutting out. so limped home and the next day when i went to take it to a garage the thing died within 5 metres of my front door. my garage couldnt get a diagnostics machine for it so they did something about codes and iv been told me ecm is minced. can anyone tell me what exactly this is and how bad it is. and how upsets my wallet gonna be with me lol.

 

Are u getting any cels (check engine lights)? Sounds kinda like ur ignitor is dieing on u, which is inside ur distributor.

 

my engine management light keeps coming on. i replaced the dizzy a couple of months ago with a brand new one.

 

whats the code?

 

i have no idea. its my mechanic that read the code and told me something about the ecm. but im on nightshift just now and was half asleep when he foned so wasnt listning properly lol.
