Opinions on red wheels on a black car?
I've been checking out the pics of people's stock GSR/Si wheels that they've painted gunmetal or black and I was wondering what you guys thought of red wheels on a black EG hatch? I have a set of 95 GSR (5 spoke) wheels on my car right now and I was gonna do them in gunmetal but I was thinking I might try something different and maybe do them in red. What do you guys think? Anyone have any pics of red wheels on a black car?

NO NO NO NO theres a guy in my town with a black JDM EG SiRII hatch and he has on JDM red sparco rims (15") and they are soooooooooo freekin ugly, sort of makes a sweet car look like it should be in the circus!! But its your car and your choice, i just wouldnt even dream of it!!

well, black rims used to be called ugly all the time too, until JDM became so damn popular. If you want to be different, then by all means do it. Lucky for me there is only 1 guy in about a 70 mile radius of me with black wheels. He has a CRX with black rota's on it. The JDM craze isn't as big here yet. I'm in MO btw. We got guys with stock HF's running 18s. NEWAYZ, I think red wheels on black cars, especially hatches look sweet. If enough people do it, in a year or so, EVERYONE will have red wheels on their black cars, so if you like it, DO IT!

What he said... I think it would look pretty good. Who cares what anyone thinks anyways, If you think it'll look good, give it a shot!

do what you like! i was getting flack in another thread for painting my muffler black, im not doing for the "cool" factor or "looks" i did it for less attention.
imo different color cars w/ certian color wheel look good, depends on the color of your car red wheels might actaully look good. some cars look good w/ white,black,bronze whatever....in the end it only matters THAT YOU like it.
