im currently running a buddy club spec 2 exhaust on my eg w/b18c5 and i got a question.what cat/testpipe are you using?i picked up a profab 421 and its longer than my previous jdm 4-1 header.any info would really help,thanx!

 

 

with a profab header i believe you need to run a custom length testpipe or cat.

 

well,then its time for me to find a cat.....any suggestions?

 

omni is adjustable but i still had to cut mine down with the spec 2 exhaust. my test pipe is only a few inches long. overall i would say get the omni so you can just cut it and wont have to weld it cause its just slip fit. good luck

i have an omni test pipe w/ out the middle section and its a super tight fit.. its your best bet unless you go custom.

I have the same same setup but running a GSR with the Spec II. I actually bought an OBX test pipe and the fitment was perfect, no cutting of piping needed.

 

REALLY? what header are you running?

 

I have the Rage header with BC Spec II, I had a test pipe made up (90mm between flanges).

I run the same exhaust on one of my cars and i had to make a 2.5in test pipe to get it to mate up to my DTR/SSR header. The exhaust is very load I got black flagged at infineon @ 105db last month !!
