we are we were lookin at the oldschool mini cooper rims lol...if we had teh other version of the civic we could do the b series...we'd have to cut off the front end and extend it like a foot lol...we also have to get rid of the crossmember or shave it just to put the d in it..

I like the Dseries Turbo idea... polished valve cover and detailed and shaved engine bay! That thing would be awesome. i want one.

you have what the 1.3l? even so the engine bay is the same size whether it was the 1500 or the 1300.... besides that ive seen somewhere a b series in a 1st gen, as well as a k. it is possible, but dont underestimate the power and abilities of the motors that come in those cars. swap out for the 1500, sidedraft carbs, pistons..etc.. search for the forum for these guys, on a side note, my dad and a good friend of his have 2 of these, my dad's friend has one with an lsd that is one of four in the world, there are ppl out there who have turned these things into real road warriors...great on stlying too

my first car was an 81 honda civic hatchback 1500, actually looks exactly like the one in the movie, i miss that car, i would womp on it all the time and it never quit. I paid 300 bucks for it and it had 110000 original miles and that was in 2000 when i bought it. Had it for 2 years til the ignition switch went out and honda wanted 250 for a new one so it sat in the driveway for a year, i got another switch for 30 bucks it fired right up and i sold it for 300. GL on your build
