Capirossi is saying the new bikes require a completely different style of riding. This should be very interesting. I'm sure all the GP riders are capable of the crossover but still. I don't believe Pedrosa was "impressed" with the bike either....

"This morning I did some tyre testing which went quite well and which might allow us to have some interesting developments for the next few races. Then we started with the GP7. As a first test it was very positive even though the bike still has to be developed. We expect to have to do a lot of work but the first impression was positive. The bike's handling has improved a lot and that's important. This bike has to be ridden in a different way to the GP6, it's actually very enjoyable, a bit like a 250 machine and testing it now was interesting and useful so we can immediately start to work on it. The engine is different, obviously less powerful but it makes a great noise! It has been a fantastic day, I'm very happy and tomorrow we'll continue to work hard".</TD></TR></TABLE>

i think it is pretty childish to argue over how 2 different web sites quoted one foreign motorcycle rider.
either way, rossi is still king.

noone was arguing. I just pointed out that he said it would require a totally different riding style. Which he did say and that was on Motogp.com which is the offical motogp site btw... I don't think people will have issues adjusting. Bottom line is that it'll take practice and lots of testing. Oh and I LOVE the new honda bike. so sexy

Except that you added the "totally" part yourself.
Of course the bike is going to require an adjustment the way its ridden, but its sure not going to turn GP racing upside down.
