replica lip questions
I'm picking an ABS lip for cheap locally...i know it fits tight, but I wondered if there is a way to heat it up and make it fit better.
And to those who say "get a real one" I say, thanks.

I've encountered plenty of unavoidable bumps/ dips, driveways, etc. that have scraped my OEM 97 ITR lip. An ABS lip would crack and possibly shatter when exposed to the same conditions. I agree that driving like a sane person is a good way to avoid damaging anything on a dumped car though.

i had a ABS lip on a SLAMMED gsr..they dont crack easily at all..wtf are you talking about lol..its very flexible and half the cost of PU...and if he it getting if for cheap then its a good deal.. to answer your question..you can heat it up and make it fit better but make sure you know what your doing cause you and warp it out of shape pretty badly.

Yeah, I also forgot to mention that my car will be the 3rd car that this lip has been on. On my old car I ripped the OEM lip on one little thing...and it cost alot more than this replica. I'll take it easy on this lip.
thanks for the info, i pick the lip up later tonight.
