Default Allmotor Si coupe. 13.1@108mph, 2.29 60', 2450 pounds

Was a nice night...With some dry burnouts, didn't hook too well, but ran a 13.1@108mph, 2.29 60' on Nitto drags. 2000 Si coupe weighing 2450 pounds w/driver.

B20vtec 85X89
13:1 compression
Headgames ported head
93 octane tuned w/crome, P30 base
B16 60MM throttle body
B16 manifold
CTR exhaust manifold w/ 3" exhaust
OEM Airbox intake

Looking to build a difuser for the rear, improvements on the air box setup, a ported manifold for this season hopefully, and a custom manifold for next year. Probably ctr cams, and pistons for next years too.

I.

She was real pissed...so was the driver.

Great times to be in such a heavy car. MPH is strong. What weight reduction have you done?

all interior panels and both front seats are kept. Other than that,

no back seats
no ac
no ps
removed backseat bracket
removed sound deadening
removed tar paper
removed rear bumper support
HX wheels
removed spare tire and jack
Also removed little brackets here and there. Just adds up over time.

thanks dude. Actually haven't reached my goal yet. When i run a certain time with a 2.0 60', then i'll throw slicks on it. Maybe lighten her up? LOL

I've been driving it since last summer, just been busy like everyone else.

what's goin on...i launched between 4000-4500 rpms, and dumped the clutch, feathered the throttle in the midrange, punched it when it gripped. I tried...the box sounds tempting. Unfortunately, i have to work this weekend. I would say it's street stock ready though, just 200 pounds above minimum from what i read recently.

The tq curve peaks at (can't say), sorry.

As far as HP, i don't run only in 3rd gear at the track if you know what i mean, so i don't care about 1 value in 1 gear.. I basically figured out a tuned length for a given rpm. It's all in the shift points and how you match the tq curves. I don't have lsd. You need a certain average hp with a certain weight to get from point a to b. To be honest, it doesn't take much to run a 12 second pass. Keep it simple, and you'll be satisfied.

thanks alot. I'm getting rid of the pistons though, and going with flatter pistons for the end of this season, or take my time for the winter. i agree with you about a true street setup, but the high dome pistons isn't practical with 93 octane. I wonder how it would run with 100 octane+ though.
