Default Help with wire tuck

Hey everyone! I am new to the site and am in the process of installing a b16a from a friends wrecked eg hatch. I am going to use the head and put it on my crvtec when the bottom end is done, but i need to know how involved is a wire tuck, where to hide the wires and also how to hide them.

That's a tough question. A wire tuck is only as serious as you are willing to go. You can do a minimal wire tuck with just taking off brackets and hiding wires. You can also get a little crazier and start cutting wires and rerouting them through the fenders, ditching A/C, PS, and CC are always helpful. You can also do a battery relocation, and you can also relocate the fuse box under the dash. The final hardcore step is to make a custom wire harness w/ as little wire as possible, and also re routing all of the brake lines behind the firewall. Like I said, its only as serious as you are willing to take it.

For most wire tucks, people hide the fusebox, run all the wires though the fenders, ditch a/c, ps, CC, and flip the injector clips upsidown and run the wires under the IM. That'll keep you busy for an afternoon, but will look really nice and clean afterwards.

dj nex is right. Its as hard as you want it to be.

You can see were i relocated the fuse box. I still have to clean the inside back up.

Engine bay still needs to be cleaned but you can see that the wiring is hidden and ran in the frame rail ( i guess you could call it that.)

I know that this isnt the right forum for this but im just trying to help him out.

props to you EF/CRX guys doin' tucks. I know its extremely hard to do. My EG was literally a cakewalk. I didn't even know what I was doing when I did it. But I just got creative and now have a fairly clean bay w/o any shortening or lengthening of wires.
