maybe when i get out of high school.

but real sooon! i think i'll have enough $$
to get the rest of the kit for my ride. that is set up as a.K.a. interfooler
i was going to get the garrett t25 turbo off original owner
but dude hasn't return my call.... so i'm thinking about not buying his used turbo.
cause i hear its not leagal in california

but down southern cali u got riice, sleepers down there ALL DAY!
so cops dont fawk with u.. (orig. owner said.)
cause orig. owner never gets fawk with for no license plate up on front bumper.
looks, etc. NOTHING!

but only speeding tickets. but up in my hick *** town cops.
population is 600,000 or more! cops dont like ANY IMPORTS but help me out.

Its going to need a CARB sticker to be legal, and to my knowledge, none of the kits are.

i dont know about the em2 but for an ef u can get the greddy turbo kit leagil but it needs a carb sticker and a bar sticker. carb says it's leagl to install and the bar is the reffre sticker when u get it smoged. i dont know much just repeating what i've heard.

since the d17 isnt a popular motor, not many major companies are going to produce carb legal kits like greddy, inline pro, rev hard, etc.

comes factory, meaning they make the setup as environmental friendly as possible, for them to be legal and pass smog, etc.

SF went out of business, they ripped off a lot of people, they never got their kit carb stamped or whatever is required in CA, therefore, it's not legal.

like stated above, there isn't a legal turbo kit for the D17.

what i've seen people do is put GREDDY stamps on their custom turbo kit to show a cop that its a legal kit (greddy is legal for b series) - cops don't know the difference.

Dud,

It means that your turbo is putting more harmful gas into our lungs....i dont care if it screws your lungs and your body...i dont care if you put bullet in your head....

but dont do that to me....you say that cali sucks because of all these laws....then obey the law....

if you're going into that, your car alone is putting harmful gas into your body and others in your area. so why not get a hybrid if that's what you're worried about.

isn't NJ (maybe NY - still close) one of the highest poluted states in the US anyways? funny you brought that up.

If you pass smog with/without a turbo good on you. Don't look for any turbo to be legal but I have known Greddy Turbos and Rev Hard turbos to pass smog in Civics.
