If you MUST put a kit on your car...don't mold it on....1) It can possibly rust under the molding. WHY you ask? I have no idea but I've seen it happen. 2) When you drive the body flexes and it can cause the kit and the paint to crack.

Well as far as molding goes.....Personally with the 3 cars that I have molded kits on before I have never molded the front bumper on. I would advise against doing it, and just mold the rest of the kit, unless you really want too, then if you DO decide to do this, put the turbo on first, because once the kit is on there, there aint no come'n off....Example, my friends Supra---->

We molded the whole car with the exception of the front bumper for the reason of intercooler fit, plus if you ever want to upgrade the intercooler or need to fix a disconnected IC pipe it would just be too much hassel to fool with a molded front...You would just have to break the mold to get the bumper off and then have to replace the molding again and then repaint....In short I wouldnt do it.

Here is how it looks currently...$$$ is kinda tight right now, so havnt got it painted yet, would really like to have it done before it gets too cold, but it may end up not get'n done until next spring. Gonna paint it a different shade of blue than it used to be....Have a set of 19s that are go'n on, but need 1 new tire. Its come a long way. The reason for even re-paint'n is due to the front end got destroyed(long story) so bought combat front and have just been work'n on it when time is avaliable...n e ways on to da pics...

Current:

Before Repaint:

Sorry but No Engine shots yet...

The Supra is a 1996 Non-Turbo with a Turbonetics T60 Turbo kit(not tuned yet ...run'n 9lbs of b00st ). Its get'n there....When its done I'll try and post up a feature on it.

This is EXACTLY why you NEVER Mold your front bumper!

sounds like a good idea if you want haters to walk up to your car and push on your moulded bumper to crack it.
