ok well i asked this question in my other thread but it is on a post and several pages back so i think that it will do better if it had its own thread.i searched and searched and came up with nothing,. my problem is my vtec mysteriously doesnt work....
all the wiring is correct .the solenoid even opens when its supose to all that stuff.
the last known time that my vtec has worked was prior to the install of new LMA's and springs /retainers.
so the question is if the LMA's where installed wrong would VTEC not work>>>>?? also what do i looki for to know if they are installed wrong?

Theres really only one way to install the lmas unless you put them in upside down.
Did you take the rockers apart? The pins that are inside MUST be in the correct order.Otherwise, no rocker arm locking = no vtec.
Oil pressure ok? No codes?

You need the factory service manual. I dont have a scanner so i cant scan mine for you. Im sure there are manuals somewhere online or maybe someone will scan them for you.
Ill try to explain...
There are locking pins that lock the rocker arms together when oil pressure in introduced behind them. Put the pins in so the rocker arms are not locked together. Short pin in the smaller rocker and larger in the mid rocker(I think thats the way)
Hope that helps
