Default Is my car possesed??

Solid CEL but comp is fine

Im running a P28 chipped/chrome and the other day I was "gettin on it" when the car fell flat on its face...... I towed it back home and checked for codes. Its a solid engine light so that means ECU right? Thats what we all thought too but my comp cranks and runs my buddy's b20 vtec fine. (Thats of course after cutting the jumper wire inside the computer)

ANYWAYS,..... I was wondering if you guys have ever heard of this and if so, What was the issue? I havent tried the dizzy yet but thats my next troubleshot,.....Is my car possesed?

Raptor jesus has taken control of your motorz.

Honnestly, I don't know what could be wrong. Sounds like you went into limp. Have you run a code scanner on it and pulled any stored codes?

Timing belt is ok,.. car wont start. Like I said, I havent checked for spark,... Im sure I can figure this out,... It just boggles me about the light staying constant but the computer being good. I thought that if you see a conctant light that that automatically means that the comp is bad. Im wondering what could be the cause of this.

The CEL light does not flash. It comes on solid.

You then need to check the code by jumping the two wires near the ecu that have a blue plug on the end with a paperclip, then the CEL will flash whats wrong.

I hate to be a dick but I can't believe I have to describe this to you. Maybe you should read up more before getting into the performance world. You need to have the basics down first before moving on.........

Is that your turbo EG in your AVATAR?

Cmon guys,... IM NOT AN IDIOT. I must not have explained it well,.. I meant that the code it was throwing (after the paperclip) was a solid light. Look in the manual,..SOlid light means bad ECU. Geese

sorry dude, we just can't ASSume you know what your doing. If we skip the obvious it could be just that and instead we tellyou to take your motor apart for no reason.

Yes solid cel is bad ECU, I would try a buddies ECU and see if it works.

Thats just it,.... we tried 2 other ECU's and neither one cranks the car but the same code is being thrown. You take either of the three ecu's and they crank my freinds B20 vtec. It doesnt make logical sense.
