When form and function collide... greddy dt exhuast WTF!
so im looking around for new exhuasts and came across the new greddy DT exhuast. Im sitting here looking to myself thinking "WOW" the guy who worked at subaru who designed the new STI front end took a part time at greddy and got this peice of work done!...
NOTE* this exhuast actually makes very good numbers... but at what cost. other then its expensive price tag, why the 2 different sized outlets? one is the principal and the other a straight through pipe which can be baffled to lessen the sound.
im wanting other thoughts on this as i think greddy really drooped the ball on this design lol. it looks cool in one way as being totally unique.. but in another way it looks like a rice creation gone bad.
so were does form and function cross the line? im all for function and less on form and this is exhuast is functional but form wise im not sure weather to brag about it or put my face in a brown bag, cut 2 holes and continue driving along my merry way.
Your thoughts on this form vs functional exhuast?
this is out for the FG's, DC's, and other cars...

hahaha thats exactly what i thought.
but jeeeeesus.. of all companies to design something like this. you would think APC would do it first. not a well established company like greddy.

Is there a pic of the design for the DC? Do they change dramatically according to the vehicle?
Cause that looks like it'd be made for a EF, DA, etc.

the dual tip exhaust style like that is very popular in japan.
Mostly on FR cars like 240sx rock them. But they're straight pipe, not that canaster crap. I think that's what Greddy is trying to do for the FF honda/acura market.
Dart Issumi on a s13 240sx:

Trust DD i think:

I bet half of you guys would ********** to a honda with those exhaust style. Well the exhaust i posted. It's like the BC specII but dual and better.
I thought you guys would be on top of the JDM GAME LOL.
