Well, its time to buy gaskets, and seals for the motor, so i was wondering...does honda actually sell such a kit? or do you have to buy it piece by piece...Also, what do you guys reccomend for a headgasket on a fairly high hp build...Oem as well? thanks

 

A company called Yonaka Motorsports makes a seal and gasket kit. It has every single little seal and gasket you need to tear down an engine and put it back together. I bought it when I rebuilt my B18C1.

are they quality stuff? i mean...ive got so much invested into this build, i dont want to skimp on arguably some of the most important engine components.

 

Yeah man, it's all good. The guy who built my engine also owns his own performance shop, and is my best friend, known him for 10 years. He bought this seal kit for my B18C1, I mean, he told me to buy it, lol. It's every seal/gasket for the block and the head.
I don't know of another manufacturer who makes these seals except Honda themselves.

 

hmmm thats not a bad price.... although i dont know what a full oem kit will cost... my only concerns is what quality that headgasket is.....boost does funny things to gaskets.
