Please do your research, there are so many threads about the same exact things.

Stock LS makes 142 BHP and i/h/e isn't going to do much for horsepower gains.

LS makes 142hp which is probably around 115ish to the wheels and with the DC and AEM mods you probably only get a few more ponies (3-5) not a huge upgrade in performance

headers won't give you enough horsepower, that youd feel. it might read higher on the dyno, but you wont feel it, like youd feel a turbo.

Why are you still on Honda-Tech?

Didn't you get made fun of enough last time?

wtf?

if you've got a LS motor you should be putting anywhere from 120-130 whp. Somewhere in there, don't quote me

Dyno's run between 118-125 depending on the condition.

AEM CAI- 2-4 Horse

DC Header- 3-5 Horse

DC exhaust- 4-5 Horse

Most likely you will dyno a little less than 140 to the wheels

Start by reading car magazines, to get a better understanding of the tuning world. From there are get a couple of Mechanics book to understand the basic fundamentals of automotive technology. Do some research on the internet. Then if you still don't have your answer come here and ask.

That is a super noobie question, basically it is a ridiculous question. Everyone here has put there time in to learn about cars, you should to that same if you are serious.
I don't mean to rag on you but that's how everybody started.

Little advice, if you want to ask a question be very specific, that way you get very specific answers

Good Luck to you

alright guyz. everybody's asked rediculous questions at one point or another.

as for horsepower. Intake/Headers/Exhausts aren't going to give you a lot of additional horsepower as opposed to a turbo or supercharger.

but they'll definitely make your butt dyno think you're much faster....

Do that stuff and then add some cam gears! That's when you should start feeling some difference, as long as you get it tuned right.

Also, buy the parts used, it won't make any difference as long as they're in decent shape, and then you can spend money on a good suspension and maybe a turbo.

The power from a turbo will straighten the wrinkles on your sack!

Huh?

B18a1-b1 (Non-VTEC) = 140 BHP

B18C1 (Gs-R) = 170 BHP

+/-18% Drivetrain Loss

B18a1-b1 (Non-VTEC) = +/-115 WHP

B18C1 (Gs-R) = +/-140 WHP

mine is currently sanded down and ready for paint. Still undecided on color I want. I'm doing the whole $50 paintjob thing from the Appearance forum here on ht. Seems to be working well for some of those guys that have done it.
