STOLEN: 2006 CBR 600 RR - San Diego, CA
So i received a phone call from my brother tonight who lives in San Diego and rides his bike from home to work and back home again. He parks in a private parking ramp and has never ever had a problem before. He has lived in CA for 3 years now!
So today he goes to lunch on his bike around 1 and returns around 130. Locks his handle bars and takes out the key. He goes back into work and gets ready to go home at 430. Gets out to his..... parking stall. The bike is GONE! MISSING! Nowhere to be found. Calls the police and does up a police report as usual but other than that he is out of luck. If you you all could keep a close eye out for a completely stock 2006 600 RR - The black one with a little red on it. The only thing that was modified was the signal lights, front and back and then the license plate thing was removed. He has only had this bike for 2 months! I beleive it has about 3-4000 miles on it. If someone could come up with this there WILL be a reward!!! Thank you soooo much!
He didnt have insurance on it so he is at a complete loss! UGH.... I am just wondering what his feeling was when he realized it was gone, just think about that if you were in the situation!!! DA*N Theives.... I am so upset and it wasnt even my bike.... I just want to be able help him but unfortunately I am younger than him and dont have much to offer to him other than trying to help! Thanks again guys and everyone on here is like family!
More information to come if i get it. Thanks!

Sometimes it makes sense; I only use my bike for fun these days. The only time I aren't on it is when it's in the garage. Regardless, I do keep theft coverage.

Yea, he is a college student with a large sum of debt. There was no way he could afford insurance. Just getting done with college and startinga new job and then this happens. Someone had to be watching him for a week or so you would think to know his schedule that well to ****** it in 3 hours or less. This really sucks!

Ok you are a moron.
First of all He obviously needs a mode of transportation, so this was the cheapest form he could buy without having used car issues. So just go ahead WOW yourself and just wow yourself again! Complete idiot. Its not like his debt is all from cars and garbage, he has school debt and a small loan. Thats not bad debt. school is a good thing!

Then you can't afford the bike.
Sucks it got stolen. Hope you find it, although it's probably in pieces by now. What part of San Diego was this?

Ok bro he obviously needed a cheap mode of transportation so his in debt *** went down to the dealership and purchased a brand new 2006 CBR 600 and then didn't even insure it. Hows that foot taste? Man I'm an idiot for buying a 2006 bike and insuring it even before I took it off the lot.
Go ahead they always do, but try and justify your stupidity........ WOWZERS LOL

could possibly be a drag go cart...my 2006 gsxr got stolen a month after i bought it im glad i got theft and liability, if your bro gets another one suggest theft and liability coverage its cheap enough to afford unlike full coverage witch costs as much as a new bike
