How-To: 95-96 Center console hazard button rewire
A few of you have converted your old center consoles to the newer 95 96 style for the famous cup holder... among better stylings and what not. The 6P connector connects right in but the wires are in the incorrect order. Here is how to change them without hacking up your harness or the switch itself.
First you need to find the 6P connector. Obviously it was connected to your old hazard button.
Next step is to unsecure the "pin lock" by taking a knife or a small screwdriver and prying it back and up.

Then it should look like this

Then take a paperclip and put it into the top(smaller) hole of the pin you need to pull out. Once it reaches the end you should feel a small click.

Pull necessary pins out so you can change the order. This is with the "pin lock" facing you.
The order is: Red/black stripe, White/yellow stripe, Blue/Yellow stripe, Red, Blue, the orange is uneccessary

Hopefully that helps you who have or who plan to switch to the newer style console!
Good luck!
