Hey guys, i just noticed one of my bulbs must have blown recently, so that means its time for an upgrade.
1st off, IM NOT GOING HID
2ndly, what are our bulbs? h4?
Lastly, what do u reccomend are GOOD bulbs to swap in there. I would like a nice crisp white, or maybe a slight blueish tinged light.
Thanks

I have ebay specials from a guy that I had done business from before, love the light output, and has a near HID cutoff. Not really, but they do have a cutoff.
Ill look him up and post it for you if interested.

I've got Sylvania Plasma's on my car. I love them so far. I've had them on previous vehicles, and they've been nothing but perfect for me. Not so bright as to annoy onlookers, but bright enough to keep the road incredibly clear. And they don't have that cheap blue hue, like so many cars these days.
i was on alldata just the other day and looked up service bullitains and found a recall on a realy for the low beams because they were blowing out you might wont to look in to that
i didnt really go that far in to reading it so iam not that sure but i remember that it was only on some years as well not all but i do belive it was both head lights cause it said something like it could cause death because of loss of head lights while driving
I highly recomend buying piaa. Size h4. I have owned cheap bulbs from wallmart...silver star and so has my friend mine went out after about three months and my friends went out after about one month. They cost me 85$ but they are guranted for atleast three years
01-03 is h4 for future reference, not sure which cars everyone has, but 04-05 is what was posted above.
(maybe this can go in our FAQ section)
blue "fake HID" bulbs suck, the light output is lower then the standard yellow ones, trust me, i've been through a couple of them, a while ago.
i have catz 4300k hid and love them. no, there's no cut off with these or any other non-projector HID. i dont recommend fake hid bulbs.

*currently 2 coats into the new painted lips

I know, but since i daily drive the car over 160km's a day, i REALLY need headlights. So i dont really have the time to wait for ebay.
A local guy alredy tried to sell me an HID kid for 180 canadian, but i really dnthave 180 to spend on HID's when normal headlights work well. Maybe for my bday or something i can get them
Plus, i SUCK at wiring, and i dont feel like tackling the wiring of them. That is why i havent gotten the ebay fogs yet.

Thanks for all your help guys,
and thank god for not fat hands
I could EASILY install my NEW PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs in the car without taking any bolts out.
All i had to do was slide my fluid canister out of its holder and i had more than enough space.
Now i just gotta wait 7 hours to try them out:p
