i bought my integra over the summer so i never really noticed this.. but now that its getting cold out, i noticed, my heater and defroster are horrible. Even if i turn the fan up to 4 and have it all the way in the red, it takes like 30 minutes before i starts defrosting my windshield. I've started carrying a roll of paper towels with me, but when i come out to 3 inches of snow on my windshield, im not sure if paper towels are gonna cut it, haha. I havent noticed any leaking from my heatercore. I've also noticed that I can drive for almost an hour before my temp gauge moves past the cold zone. The highest i've ever seen it get is about a 1/4 of the way up the gauge. could this be a thermostat problem? something bigger?

 

try changing the thermostat first, if that doesnt work, come back to us.
