hello people
im looking into getting an 07 gsxr ..thing is it is my first time actually buying or trying to buy one from the dealership...since i was 17 i had a 92 ninja 250 and went on to a couple late 90's gsxr's but they were all used....i like the new ones and i think it is time for me to have a new one....
so since msrp is 8899.... what is a good price for me to drive it out for or are motorcycle dealerships all that negotiable on prices?? i have enough money to buy one with my own money but i think i would like to put half down so i can have a little bit of money for my self and out some points up for credit but whatever gets me the best deal is good for me..........i see a couple ads of other dealerships like 200 miles away that have 97-9800 out the door prices listed but i would like to stay in my area......

since the 07's are just now popping up, good luck getting a good deal. i had the first 06 in east tn and barely got anything off msrp. wait a little while and you'l be able to get yourself a much better deal, plus, dont just buy it the minute you think you have a good deal. be sure to shop around.

Don't forget when the finance 100% because they have no money and then realize they can't afford the required insurance.

I wouldn't touch one for over 9,500 out the door and even then only if I was desperate.
With cash in hand I'd be waiting until I got something for 9000 OTD if not cheaper.

If I was from the south I'd be looking at 8500 for one.
Location matters but there isn't anywhere in the country where an educated buyer should be paying 10000 OTD for a 600.

Shop around. Find friends that have bought a bike from a certain salesman and go there win them. Most salesmen know that if a friend brought you then you will probably bring a friend down the line so they tend to give better deals. Try to get around MSRP OTD but if you an 07 gixxer you have to wait to get a decent deal or just pay it out your ***.

they are the same. only thing that changed were the colors.

It's different engine maps for different situations such as rain vs dry etc.
It's been done before on different motorcycles and is not traction control.
