I have a little bit of "grease" coming out of the rubber seal on the pedal end. Also, when I push down on the clutch pedal, it makes a "click" noise (everytime I push the pedal down) about 1/4-1/3 of the way to the floor. The clutch seems to disengage/engage fine and none of the gears grind.
How can you tell if your clutch MC is all messed up?

If it has a leak, it will get worse, nothing you can do about it.
Just buy a new one and replace it. I had a leak in mine in the exact same spot(pretty common) and I left it go for a while. After about 4-5 days the clutch just went down and didn't come back. lol
ANY leak in the actual cylinder and you will have the replace it.

the funny thing is...the clutch resevoir is still full and it's been a week now, so I just wanted to know if mine is broken or what. lol why replace it if it's not broken. But did your clutch pedal make a clicking noise?
I had the same thing happen to mine so i replaced it. Only to have it happen again within a month. Im using an ACT HA3-XTSS clutch so im not sure if the clutch is too much for it. I think these OEM master clutch cylinders are weak. Anyone know of a more heavy duty aftermarket one?
Mine made a clicking noise, almost like a small pop as the clutch went up. My clutch fluid reservoir use to go down in level also. Mine looks like it was further down hill than your is.
Might be full now but if it's leaking it's only a matter of time. Mine made the same sound, then as it got worse it starter squeaking. If it starts squeaking the replace it asap as it will be pretty close to dieing in the ***. And it's not something you want to happen when your either driving or not at home.
Also another sign that it's on it's way out is it will be just a lil harder to get it into gear, not really noticible to start but it dose get worst. Just be aware and if these things do start to happen, you know what to do.

a lot of the symptons described could be anywhere in the clutch hydrolic system. I though the clutch slave on my 3rd gen was bad but it ended up being a pinhole leak in the clutch hose. It blew up after then 3rd time bleeding it and putting too much pressure behind it.. YUCK!
