okay well i just got my brothers old del sol and im trying to fix it but it doesnt start.
First, it was just making clicking noises, then i changed the starter, the engine turns but it doesnt go off, changed the distributer, still, the engine turns but doesnt go off, the battery dies when i unplug the jumper cables, but ive tried starting it with the jumper cables on it. still nothing, can anyone aid some support please?

 

Is the Check Engine light on at all?

At the top of this forum is a sticky post that will help you find out why the CE light is coming on. Most of the time that'll give you a direction of where to look.

are you sure that the spark plugs are in the proper firing order?
