when im driving my car the temp stopped going past 1/4. it used to go to the middle but now it just stays at 1/4 and never goes past it. could it be a bad sensor? i was working a few weeks ago but now its not.

When the temp sensor goes bad, it usually results in erratic reading (jumping needle). It sounds like your thermostat needs replacing. If so, I recommend using an OEM type for best performance.
