Question about installing EVO2
I'm sure this thing will come with instructions, but in case I miss anything I need to be fully prepared because I have to get this thing installed ASAP when I get it.
First off, do I need to get the whole car off the ground to move around freely under it? Or just jack up the rear? Im used to typical domestics where you jack it up on the frame, but if im not mistaken, on these smaller imports you jack it up in specific places, IE that loop/hitch on the back, and I dont know where on the front.
Also, I wont need a lot of tools for this will I? I know most of honda's bolts are all the same size.

i usually jack it up in the rear, slide jackstands, and vice versa for front.
than work comfortably under the ride

tools, shouldn't need much
1) a little muscle
2) a rachet
3) 14mm, 17mm sockets (not sure whats on the FG2 yet) most likely 14mm thats really about it, it just unbolts and bolts right back on
perhaps just a little WD40 to get the brackets that hold the exhaust up, out of the hangers.. but car is new, shouldn't need it

Never get under a car that is supported by just a jack!!!! You can get away with only jacking up the right side (i.e., jack up the right side and place jack stands under the right front and right rear). You can get everything out on the right side, plus you'll have enough room to work under the car.
PB Blast our Liquid Wrench the bolts a day or two in advance, even do it twice if you can. PB Blast works great, but works ven better if you saturate the bolts a few times.....if the bolts are rusty.
In addition to the tools noted in the prior post, I have a thing about torqueing all bolts back to mfg spec. I'm just a little nuts on this point because it's a carryover from all my years of wrenching sportbikes.....where one bolt can make the difference between life and death.

Should be pretty simple since the car is brand new. I dont see why the bolts would allready be rusted. Just use a little muscle and you'll be fine. You'll undo 2 sets of bolts and take it off the hangers. Simple as that. Good luck
